About Chileno Bay
What makes Chileno Bay different
Chileno Bay sits on the only swimmable bay on the Sea of Cortez side of the Corridor. The beach is calm, snorkel-able, and locals have been bringing their families here for decades β it's recently been wrapped into the Auberge resort's footprint, with branded residences and a Tom Fazio golf course on the inland side.
Inventory is small (~150 homesites built out) and almost everything trades through the developer. Resale rates are climbing fast as the resort matures.
Buy in Chileno Bay when you want a swimmable beach AND a recognized hospitality brand. Best of both Palmilla and Diamante, smaller scale.

FAQ
Chileno Bay, answered
How accessible is the bay for non-residents?
The beach itself is technically public (federal land in Mexico), but the access roads through the community are gated. Resort guests can use the beach; the bay's natural curve keeps most casual day-trippers out.
Is the snorkeling really that good?
Yes β Chileno Bay is one of the official protected marine areas on this stretch. You'll see angelfish, parrotfish, sea turtles, occasional reef sharks. The reef sits 50-100 yards from shore, very swimmable.
Do owners get full Auberge resort access?
Yes through the homeowners program β pools, beach club, spa, restaurants, fitness. Resort booking concierge is available. Preferred tee times at the Tom Fazio course are part of the package.
How fast does inventory move?
Slowly β there are only ~150 homes and most owners use them heavily. Maybe 8-12 transactions per year, most through the developer or off-market broker network. Inquire early if a specific section interests you.
