Hola, this is the list.
Not the highlights. Not the "top 10 if you only have a weekend." This is the complete Cabo bucket list. Thirty-six experiences that cover every corner of what makes Los Cabos one of the most extraordinary places on the planet.
You will not do all of these in one trip. That is fine. This list is meant to live in your phone and get checked off over multiple visits. Because once Cabo gets under your skin, you will be back.
On the Water
1. Sail past the Arch at sunset. The most iconic view in Los Cabos, and it hits completely different from a yacht as the light turns gold.
2. Swim with whale sharks near La Paz. October through March. Forty-foot gentle giants gliding through the Sea of Cortez. Life-changing is not an exaggeration.
3. Watch humpback whales breach. December through April. The mothers bring their calves to the warm waters off Palmilla, and watching a breach from fifty yards away will ruin every nature documentary for you.
4. Snorkel Cabo Pulmo. The most successful marine reserve in the world. Jack fish tornadoes, bull sharks, and reef life so thick it blocks the light. Two hours from Cabo and worth every minute of the drive.
5. Snorkel Chileno Bay. The easy one. Calm water, colorful fish, sea turtles, and zero current. Perfect for families and first-time snorkelers.
6. Deep sea fish for marlin. Cabo is the marlin capital of the world. The fight with a striped marlin or a dorado is something you feel in your arms for days.
7. Paddleboard at sunrise in San Jose. Flat water, empty beach, pink sky. The most peaceful hour in Cabo.
8. Jet ski to Lover's Beach. Speed across the harbor, round Land's End, and park on a beach you can only reach by water.
9. Surf at Costa Azul. Real Pacific waves on the Corridor. Lessons available for beginners, but the experienced surfers come for the Zippers break.
10. Take a glass-bottom boat. The family-friendly way to see the Arch, the sea lion colony, and the fish below without getting wet.
On Land
11. Drive ATVs through the desert. Sand dunes, ocean views, and enough dust to make you feel alive. The trails near Quivira are the best.
12. Ride horses on the beach at sunset. Near Pacific beaches outside Cabo San Lucas. The kind of thing that feels like a movie scene until you realize it is your actual life.
13. Hike the Pedregal trail. A short, steep trail that leads to a viewpoint overlooking Land's End. Locals do it in the morning. Bring water.
14. Explore San Jose del Cabo Art District. Thursday evening art walk with open galleries, live music, and wine. The cultural heartbeat of Los Cabos.
15. Visit a working farm. Acre, Flora Farms, and Huerta Los Tamarindos all offer tours. See where your dinner grows before you eat it.
16. Ride a camel in the desert. Yes, there are camels in Cabo. Safari-style ride through the desert with ocean views in the distance. Kids love it. Adults are surprised by how much they love it.
17. Play golf at Quivira. The Jack Nicklaus course at Quivira is carved into the cliffs at Land's End. Multiple holes with the Pacific crashing below. Best golf course in Mexico, and one of the best in the world.
18. Explore Todos Santos. The bohemian artist town an hour north of Cabo. Galleries, surf, the Hotel California (yes, that one), and a vibe that feels like Cabo thirty years ago.
At the Table
19. Eat tacos at a street stand. Not a restaurant taco. A street taco. Al pastor, carne asada, gobernador. Salsa bar with six options. Under $2 per taco. The best food in Cabo costs the least.
20. Dinner at a farm restaurant. Acre, Flora Farms, or Huerta Los Tamarindos. Farm-to-table in Cabo means the ingredients were in the ground that morning.
21. Order the seafood tower at El Farallon. Carved into the cliffs at Pedregal. Waves crashing below. The tower is a production. The setting makes it transcendent.
22. Try aguachile from a mariscos cart. Sinaloa-style shrimp in lime and chili, served on a tostada from a street cart. Spicy, fresh, and absolutely perfect.
23. Drink mezcal in the Art District. La Lupita or any of the mezcal bars in San Jose. Smoky, complex, and best sipped slowly while someone explains the difference between espadin and tobala.
24. Have a private chef dinner at your villa. Fresh ceviche, handmade tortillas, grilled lobster, all served poolside at your villa by a local chef. One of the best dining experiences in Cabo, and it never requires a reservation.
25. Brunch at Flora Farms. The Saturday brunch is legendary. Wood-fired everything, fresh juices, and a setting that makes every photo look professional.
26. Eat breakfast tacos at Taqueria Rossy. Machaca, chicharron, egg and salsa verde, wrapped in flour tortillas the size of your head. Get there before the line.
27. Sunset drinks at The Cape Bar. Cocktails on the terrace with an unobstructed view of the Arch. No reservation needed. Just show up at 5:30.
The Experiences
28. Watch a Cabo sunrise from the Pacific side. Most people sleep through them. Walk to the beach before 6:30 AM and watch the sky turn pink over the water. You will have it to yourself.
29. Book a luxury concierge day. Let someone else plan everything for one full day. Transfers, activities, restaurants, timing. You just show up. It changes the entire experience.
30. Swim at Playa del Amor. Lover's Beach, accessible only by water. Pack a lunch, take a water taxi, and spend the morning on one of the most beautiful beaches in Mexico.
31. See bioluminescence. When conditions are right, the water glows blue with every movement. Night tours run from the marina. It feels like magic because it basically is.
32. Get a beachfront massage. Multiple spots along the Corridor offer massages with the sound of waves as your soundtrack. Simple, perfect.
33. Walk the Malecon in San Jose. The waterfront boardwalk at sunset. Local vendors, ocean views, and the kind of stroll that makes you forget your phone exists.
34. Take a photo at the Cabo San Lucas sign. The big one near the marina. Tourist move? Absolutely. But you are a tourist, and the sign is right there.
35. Day trip to Balandra Beach near La Paz. The most photographed beach in Mexico. Crystal clear water in a protected bay that looks like it was designed by a graphic artist. Two hours from Cabo and worth every minute.
36. Stay one day longer than you planned. Every single person who visits Cabo says the same thing: "I wish we had one more day." So build it into the plan. Book that extra night. Future you will be grateful.
